I am really excited about sharing my Dartmouth experiences with you on the blog! Click to learn more about Off-campus study programs:. A Day in the Dartmouth Life: Writing for The Dartmouth
http://dartlife.blogspot.com/2007/05/writing-for-dartmouth.html
A Day in the Dartmouth Life. Monday, May 14, 2007. Writing for The Dartmouth. The Dartmouth is Dartmouth College's daily campus newspaper. It is the oldest college newspaper in America, and it is written and run by students. Simply known as 'The D', you can see people reading it all over campus - over breakfast, in class, etc. It covers campus events, accomplishments of students and faculty, athletics, student life, and opinions. A Day in the Dartmouth Life: Music at Lone Pine
http://dartlife.blogspot.com/2007/04/being-senior-at-dartmouth-has-its-perks.html
A Day in the Dartmouth Life. Friday, April 27, 2007. Music at Lone Pine. Being a senior at Dartmouth has its perks - you know pretty much everyone, you've got the dining menus memorized, and most of us, at least, can relax for our senior spring, because we already know what grad school we're going to, or where we'll be working next year. But for me, the best part about Lone Pine is that every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, you can hear live music from 8pm-midnight - and they're all students!

I hope that all of the admitted students are excited about Dartmouth, and remember that any of us are happy to help with any questions that you might have about Dartmouth! Tell us what you want to read about on our blog! Dartmouth students aren't cut-throat competitive; it's an environment that fosters team-work and that's one of the best aspects of Dartmouth. I t...

A Day in the Dartmouth Life: Winter Blues?
http://dartlife.blogspot.com/2007/03/winter-blues.html
A Day in the Dartmouth Life. Thursday, March 08, 2007. The term is slowly coming to an end which for many students means long quiet nights in Baker Library or Novack Café preparing for exams. It may be winter, but this term has been anything but uneventful. Besides skiing and snowboarding at the Dartmouth Skiway. Winter has been the term for Dartmouth’s very own performing arts groups. So if you’re worried about not being able to handle the cold, don’t. You are kept too busy to be worrying about it&#...

A Day in the Dartmouth Life: Spring Formals
http://dartlife.blogspot.com/2007/05/spring-formals.html
A Day in the Dartmouth Life. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. If you are a member of a Greek organization, then one of the best things that you get do to is go to spring formal. It's filled with dancing, great food, and beautiful weather - it's pretty much a perfect evening. If you liked your prom, then you'll love formals - they're essentially the same, except you get to do it once a term. And if you didn't like your prom, well, formals are your chance to do it over and enjoy yourself this time around.

A Day in the Dartmouth Life: Art Courses at Dartmouth
http://dartlife.blogspot.com/2007/02/art-courses-at-dartmouth.html
A Day in the Dartmouth Life. Sunday, February 18, 2007. Art Courses at Dartmouth. At the beginning of each class, the professor gives us some guidelines on what techniques we are focusing on for the week. Since this is Drawing I, we started from simple things like line width and negative space. We just had a week on proportions, and we are now drawing human figures. We even had a nude model pose for us last week in class! The classes go beyond the classroom because all students in studio art courses have...

A Day in the Dartmouth Life: Professors at Dartmouth
http://dartlife.blogspot.com/2007/02/professors-at-dartmouth.html
A Day in the Dartmouth Life. Tuesday, February 13, 2007. This term is really reminding me how lucky we are to have the quality of professors we have here at Dartmouth. Generally speaking, the quality of teaching is outstanding. I had noticed this in past terms. My profs are experts in their fields; they are writers and researchers, but they really care about each and every day of class. Lectures are great, and you can always talk to them. A Day in the Dartmouth Life. Friday, February 02, 2007. Posted by Cory Cunningham '10 @ 2:00 AM. At February 06, 2007 12:38 PM. Wow That sounds like fun. Better than HS prom's even! And it's so awesome SC/CC sponsored the event! PLUS being able to donate the entrance money to charity. It's incredibly hard not to love Dartmouth, I'm already so attached to it. At February 07, 2007 4:26 AM. Ooh, Frosty Escape. At February 07, 2007 4:58 PM. It was definitely fun either way, though!
