The Lovely Miss J recently reminded me of an incident that took place about 10 years ago, and recommended I share it with the world. Here in the fine state of Oregon, it is illegal to pump your own gas. That’s right, illegal. For some, including most native Oregonians, this is a blessing. For me, it is super-annoying. Gas costs more, and filling up takes longer, and there’s nothing I can do about it. This is where the story takes a turn.
