ramblingwrights: April 2006
http://ramblingwrights.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 26, 2006. So much to write and so little time to write it! A quick post with photo showing how Philip returned from his second day at nursery with paint on his clothes! Apparently he did a respectable job of wielding a paintbrush into the paint and then into his mouth and all over his face. And wasn't impressed when they tried to give him green paint instead of blue! Posted by clr at 11:10 pm. Monday, April 24, 2006. Philip has gone off for his first day at nursery. And how do I feel?

Planet Mad: June 2003
http://planet-mad.blogspot.com/2003_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 28, 2003. I spent much of this afternoon doing a credible impression of a nagging old bag in an attempt to get the kids sorted, packed and ready for the end of term. This evening, however, has sailed by in a whirl of drinks, food, speeches, presents and discussion disguised as general social chit-chat. There were numerous moments of hilarity, not least the description of this organ as the bastion of internetness. PS Tom J - the gubbins you wanted is here. Friday, June 27, 2003. Cheers, Si,...

Saturday, January 03, 2009. 030109 Practising for the baby. Originally uploaded by Planet Mad. Nappies are very odd things. We're planning to use cloth nappies in the long run, but we're starting with disposables - I thought I needed to practice before being faced with a real-life pooing bum! The pooing is easy. You get a warning. Its the peeing in an aerial direction that means you need to practice speed. And later it's the wriggling when incomplete. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Time For Your Meds.

Tuesday, June 06, 2006. Philip has a new room. His old tiny nursery is now a less excesive study for us (although we have maximised storage with 3 levels of shelving plus 3 bookcases), and the front bedroom is now repapered, painted and fitted out. The process started on Tuesday night and was made possible by Gran and Grandfather's amazing work over a long weekend and Jo's assistance on the Sunday. Hard work but the results are great. Feels like we've been busy! Posted by clr at 9:40 pm. Am loving my new...

The second swimming lesson saw lots more concentration on the bright floating animals they scatter around the pool, a bit of kicking and plenty of trying to drink the swimming pool water. Then when he did get a good mouthful he wasn't really so impressed. Posted by clr at 11:27 am. Wednesday, February 15, 2006. Posted by clr at 5:27 pm. Too-day i been thi.

http://ramblingwrights.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 12, 2005. I haven't had time to blog for a while, which I see as a good thing. It shows I now have less time sitting around at silly times of the morning waiting for Philip to be back asleep. He can now go for around 6 hours between night feeds which gives me a block of about 5hrs sleep. Bliss :-). And good food as ever. Posted by clr at 3:58 pm. Hopefully Ill post in my own name this time! Charlies first day at school today. Hes been ve. Philips first post hello]wot? Too-day i been thi.

Sunday, March 26, 2006. And so to the young man. The exciting thing is that he's so nearly sitting up that I can now prop him up with a special cushion, rather than having to continually support him. When he succeeds in slumping forwards into his front, he can then bring into play his rolling from front to back (still only done if he really has to). He then lies on his back looking somewhat stunned! First nursery settling in visit tomorrow - we'll see how he copes with the big boys! Sunday, March 05, 2006.

http://ramblingwrights.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 27, 2006. At Ed's and my Mum's insistance, I have put Philip on the waiting list for a nursery school today (where he won't go until he's at least 3 years old). I can't understand why politicians are worried that pushy parents get all the best places! Is the moral that we shouldn't live in shoes (which I think Philip will be quick to work out are too small anyway)? Posted by clr at 1:16 pm. Tuesday, January 24, 2006. We've all got colds. What fun!
