Friday, December 30, 2011. Memory Making is Important. That's the theme that goes with this post. Take time to make memories with friends and family. This trip we took in August will always have special importance for our family and our friends. We rented a house in McCall in August- what a crazy fun time! We had a really great time with the Rogers and the Davis families. And we're totally planning on spending a vacation together again- SOON! And even caught Allison swinging from a rope into the water!

Allison took her business the furthest. she set up shop and served anyone who was willing to get decorated! Just her luck- the Davis girls stopped by and were happy to be her customers! Monday, February 27, 2012. And, an obligitory photo from everyone's* favorite holiday. Sadie is Velma from Scooby Doo, Allison is Frankie Stein (Frankenstine's daughter), and Grant is IronMan. Uh huh. It's actually one of my least favorite. But it's so commercilized that my kids would totally miss the chance to dress up and eat lots of candy. So, here's the obligitory photo. Mostly because my kids are so cute. There's an awful lot of things I'm willing to do for these three angels.

Sunday, January 15, 2012. Kylie Genevieve is born! Shortly after school started, the arrival of a new cousin gave us a reason to celebrate! Sweet Mya (who many of you prayed for a couple years back- she's doing great! Now has a baby sister, Kylie! Rather than travelling to the west side to visit her, my sister and family made the trip over to see us. The late harvest was a draw for their chance to let Mya enjoy her first wheat harvest. It was so great to have family together and celebrate a new baby!

Wednesday, March 23, 2011. 8 on the 8th. Allison just celebrated her golden birthday by turning 8 years old on the 8th of March (if we go back to her birth date. she was due on 3/3/03. which would have been COOL. but she had her own ideas and came 5 days late.). Her gift from mom and dad was getting her ears pierced. She's waited a long time for this exciting occasion. She chose sapphire stones- her birthstone. Links to this post. Sunday, March 20, 2011. Tuesday, March 06, 2012. So, we got to enjoy Thanksgiving in Lynden! It was so fun to hang out with cousins and have a grand time there. I think the highlight of the trip was the chance to go rollerskating- a first for my three kids. It's just as fun as I remember! We also spent a night in Lynnwood w/ the Tiegs family which was a blast, too. We got to babysit little Kylie while Mya got a date night with mom and dad. We had a great time! Links to this post. Yup One of the coolest Golden Birthdays EVER. We discovered it soon after she was born on 10/10/00. And I always said we'd have a big celebration. It's here.
