Shaun's Blog: Intro and History
http://shaunlim.blogspot.com/2004/11/intro-and-history.html
Saturday, November 20, 2004. My name is Shaun and I come from a little island called Singapore. Singapore's history is rich and colorful. Its original founder, Sangnila-Utama, found Singapore and originally named it Temasek which refers to "Lion". He named it such because according to history, he saw a lion on the island. The island was originally swampy with nothing of particular value. However, today, the whole scene is definitely much different. For more information on the history of Singapore, visit:.

In schools, there is a mixture of races and students mix around with other races quickly and easily. Most people have a social circle with people of all 3 races in it. Rarely are there racist remarks or malice towards another race. For more information about the People of Singapore, visit:. Shaun, 11:35 AM.
