The Potting Shed: April 2013
http://michellescountrygardens.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Bloom Day April 2013. Since spring seems somewhat elusive this year for my area, there are no blooms to be found anywhere outdoors. I found myself looking indoors for blooms for this first bloom day of spring. I surprised myself with the number of plants that I had blooming indoors. I really am not much of a houseplant kind of person. A primula I picked up the other day. Alyssum to go with pansies for a couple of early season containers. Thanks to Carol at May Dreams Gardens.

Failed Attempts at being Fabulous....: Christmas House Tour
http://failedattemptsatbeingfab.blogspot.com/2014/12/christmas-house-tour.html
Monday, December 29, 2014. All month long I have been looking at Christmas Home Tours on various blogs and links from Pinterest, which made me anxious to post mine! But when I sat down to post them, I realized they were pretty terrible blurry iphone pictures with bad lighting! But instead of stressing over it and trying to take more pictures, I decided to just post them anyway! My fake window with all my cards. Plant plants and more plants. I found this star garland on Etsy, and I love it! Hopefully next...

The Gardens of Petersonville: Fruitful Gardening
http://gardensofpetersonville.blogspot.com/2015/06/fruitful-gardening.html
The Gardens of Petersonville. This is about life in my gardens. One is an acre on a hillside in Laguna Beach, California and the other is an acre in San Juan Capistrano, California. Saturday, June 20, 2015. We have been enjoying peaches, grapefruit, lemons, oranges, blueberries, strawberries and one tomato from the garden this week. There are only a few grapes on the vines (need to prune next winter) but they are starting to ripen too. Fruit from the garden is almost too easy in some cases! A CUP OF JO.

Hilltop Gothic: May 2015

Renovating/restoring my vernacular gothic revival cottage in a neighborhood of mostly late-19th-century homes on a narrow, steep little street. Monday, May 18, 2015. I was cleaning out the front side garden one day when I discovered a bird's nest in the middle of the obelisk, which is covered with Sweet Autumn clematis. The next day I saw three eggs. A few days later there was Mama Cardinal on top of them. Look for the orange beak below. See her red tail feathers in the middle? Sunday, May 17, 2015.

The Harvest Moon Gazette: January 2016
http://harvestmoongazette.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 26. I know many of you are under snow, some literally, so it's hard to look ahead to spring, but we can dream. The seed catalogs have been arriving already, and I'm dreaming of a garden makeover. I'm going to try something different this year using containers and raised beds, rather than a traditional garden plot. Until it's warm enough to dig in the dirt, I have a few freebies I found while browsing online that I thought I'd pass along. COLOR UNTIL YOU CAN PLANT. This isn't exactly a ga...
