The Newbie: March 2011
http://ashley-the-newbie.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 17, 2011. Spring is definitely here in Arkansas. My most favorite part of Spring is seeing the daffodils spring up, almost overnight. I'm so happy that at my new house we have lots of them in the flower beds. I can't believe it's already mid March. I have been wanting to plant a vegetable garden for about four years now but have never quite gotten around to it. This is the year that changes! Technique that I learned in my organic gardening class at UCA. I really do love spring. And I ...

DaisyCakes: September 2010
http://daisycakesbakery.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. What started out as a recipe post, has turned into a confessional. While this post is a result of a recent web search, I have been struggling with this for the past two years. This post while helpful for me, is at the same time VERY emotional for me to sit down and put into words. So please excuse me if I start to ramble. Have you ever known something about yourself, but almost refused to accept or see it? What the Heck is that? This has never before happened! Not a one....

DaisyCakes: 24 Days of Christmas: Day 2
http://daisycakesbakery.blogspot.com/2010/12/24-days-of-christmas-day-2.html
Thursday, December 2, 2010. 24 Days of Christmas: Day 2. Ever have one of those days where you wake up in the morning, and you just have nothing in you creatively. Well guess what. That was my day today. I woke up to a phone call of bad news, and it was down hill from there. Yesterday I had all the ambition in the world. It was hard for me to just do one project. I wish now that I would have started on the second. It is found at Just Something I Made. Let's hope that tomorrow goes a lot better.

DaisyCakes: First day on the Job
http://daisycakesbakery.blogspot.com/2010/11/first-day-on-job.html
Tuesday, November 23, 2010. First day on the Job. For the past eight years I have been stuck behind a desk working the days away. Subsequently for the past eight years I have felt like there was something else I wanted to do. I started college at 19 and studied information systems. That didn't last. I went to study the culinary arts last year, and a $52,000 that didn't. Even start. So my desk job was all I had to fall back on. That job, and era of my life is over now. Last Friday. Well most everyone has ...
