Deke, Mattie, Chadd, Tayler and Kenzie. Friday, May 7, 2010. This year we did something for Thanksgiving we have never done before, and had the time of our lives. We drove up to Wisconsin to Jon and Merges. Jeani, David and Burke flew in from Utah. The trip was so much fun! I would highly recommend visiting them, they are the greatest hosts of all time. She joined about a month ago and she already has earned 3 badges. Right now she is selling toasted and chocolate covered nuts, but she is really excited about selling the famous cookies.(I on the other hand am not excited to sell either.) He was really "Freaked Out" because he had to post the flag for the first time. He did a great job! He loves Scouts and has worked really hard. Shane, Jessica and Lucas. Sunday, February 27, 2011. We gave Lucas a sled for Christmas and since we got some pretty good snow in this last storm we finally got to use it. The sledding itself was pretty uneventful. Lucas just sat there while Shane and I took turns pulling him around the backyard. I don't think he cracked a smile or anything! It was his first time and we were probably more excited then he was. :) All he wanted to do was run around with the dogs so we got him out and let him go.

Shane, Jessica and Lucas. Monday, September 19, 2011. Here's our Labor Day weekend in pictures. This year was a lot of fun! Lucas loved the Merry-go-Round, aka "Ho-sees". The second he woke up in the morning he would ask me to ride the "ho-sees". I'm pretty sure everyone got a turn (or two) to ride with him on the Merry-go-Round. Shane, Jessica and Lucas. Friday, May 27, 2011. Take Me Out to the Ballgame! When Lucas was a baby and got fussy I would try to sing to him to calm him down. (Try being the key word! Anyway- there were only two songs that he would stop crying for; the first being "We are a Happy Family" and the second "Take Me Out to the Ballgame". He's been a fan of balls (any kind). But it turned out great and I think all of the kids had a good time. Here are a few pictures of the party. And seriously got spoiled!

Lucas didn't cry but Shane said it was really dark and had loud noises around every corner and let's just say after that it took almost the rest of the morning to talk Lucas back into liking Disneyland. In fact, I was never able to talk him into going back into Toontown to take fun pics because he was scared. Oh well! And most everything we went on I was able to ride too. Yay! I was in charge of planning it and since I knew that I'd be ready to pop I kept it pretty simple and just did lunch at the commons. Here's a picture of almost everyone who came. Just a few of us. He, of course, thinks he's a lot bigger then he really is and wanted to do everything himself. We let him help as much as possible and he loved it! Lucas called the insides "weeds". Letting reese climb into my bed for some snuggles before handing over my coveted iphone for some quality disney jr time.
