I am so lucky. it seems that god is in a good mood and likes to make himself known. how the fuck else did i end up here, with the best, most patient, merciful bosses in the world. One day, i'll learn to trust people. (i think that i'm always assuming there's something wrong or looking for the next harmful thing coming my way. no wonder i feel like i never got past the melodramatic phase of life.). I've found an author. matt ruff. nice sense of humour. dark. talks about the way minds work. his writing's smooth and fun to read aloud. the only thing i'm not a fan of is that he's only written 3 books, and i just finished 1.5 of them. sadness. People tell me that i seem much happier this year. [shrug] you'd be too, if you'd been me last year and this year. Also, the period on my keyboard has to be reminded of its job every so often. I survived a rocky year as a first year teacher in a crappy situation, and I will be returning next year though they've only figured out some of who I'm teaching with.
