Frans in the United Kingdom: November 2010
http://fransinbradford.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 26, 2010. Okay, maybe I can tell you about one thing. It occurred on a Wednesday afternoon. I promised my Chinese friends to go with them to the swimming pool at 16:30, but as I was too busy minding my own business I forgot about our plan. Luckily, I was able to contact them just before they dived into the water, but I still felt bad afterwards. When I got up at 10:30 the next morning, I realised that it had not been a wise decision to join the BURACS for a drink in the pub the other day...

Frans in the United Kingdom: May 2011
http://fransinbradford.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 17, 2011. What happened in Bradford…. OK, I will shortly explain to you what I meant by those bad experiences in the supermarket. The first bad experience occurred back in November when I was trying to buy some Chinese beer with two of my Chinese friends for a Chinese dinner (can I get an award for mentioning the word ‘Chinese’ in a sentence three times? And will I ever see these people again? With all these questions running through my head, I closed my eyes and hoped that I could get some ...

Frans in the United Kingdom: Holiday to the Netherlands
http://fransinbradford.blogspot.com/2011/05/holiday-to-netherlands.html
Saturday, May 14, 2011. Holiday to the Netherlands. The story of my exchange continues…. Won Our Christmas dinner consisted mostly of meat and I am proud to say that I was the lucky son to distribute the meat to the rest of the family. I am afraid, however, that someone else will do the job next year, since I tend to give bigger pieces of meat to the people I like more and this did not stay unnoticed. Of a queue and at 2:00 am we were finally back at my sister’s apartment. NEW YEAR IN LONDON.

Frans in the United Kingdom: September 2010
http://fransinbradford.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 29, 2010. On Sunday, I planned to do some sightseeing in the City of Bradford. Eventually, I ended up in many different shops to get new items for my room. After ten cold minutes, we could enter the building again and it turned out that some idiots had created a smokescreen with the oven. All in all, my first few weeks in Bradford were a blast and I can promise you that there will be more exciting stories ...

Frans in the United Kingdom: March 2011
http://fransinbradford.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 10, 2011. As promised: more stories about England! And this meant that I had to cut down on words. This was hard, because the time pressure gave me little peace of mind, which was needed to complete this painstaking procedure. Hence, all of my reports consisted of too many words and I just hoped that the professors would not punish me too much for this mistake. Next time, I will tell you more about my experiences ‘as a tourist’ in the Netherlands and also about the trip I made...Econometr...
