Desert Garden: Today's Flowers ~ Daisies~ 022215

http://desertgardenpd.blogspot.com/2015/02/todays-flowers-daisies-022215.html

My gardens in the desert southwest and other flowers that grow in our region near Palm Springs, CA. Sunday, February 22, 2015. Today's Flowers Daisies 022215. I planted some daisies out front in my garden, next to the lavender. I went back last weekend and bought 2 different kinds of lavender, but their blossoms are quickly fading. The daisies, however, are still in full bloom. I love their cheerfulness, don't you? It is a joy to see such bright beauty! February 22, 2015 at 10:31 AM.

My gardens in the desert southwest and other flowers that grow in our region near Palm Springs, CA. Sunday, February 2, 2014. Garden, February 2014. So, the wildflower garden is DONE and now I just have to wait and see what grows. Not from my garden, but they sure are pretty! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I don't have any roses in my yard. I've tried to grow them for 30 years, to no avail. My parents had gorgeous roses, but I've managed to kill every rose I've ever planted. Yes, that includes bare root, container, and transplants. EVERY SINGLE ONE! Please go to: http:/ flowersfromtoday.blogspot.com/. To enjoy more beautiful flowers.

Desert Garden: Winter garden~January 2015

http://desertgardenpd.blogspot.com/2015/01/winter-gardenjanuary-2015.html

My gardens in the desert southwest and other flowers that grow in our region near Palm Springs, CA. Friday, January 9, 2015. Winter garden January 2015. I'm planting my winter garden and I'm also planting some wildflower mixtures. American Gardens has a bee mixture, a butterfly mixture, and a songbird mixture, so I planted one of each. Today I went and bought their California flower mixture, so hopefully, in about 6 weeks, I'll see some results. I snapped my camera just as this dove came in for a landing!

Chantilly the white one in the previous post and her sister, Silki, a calico. Chantilly loves to be held and petted but Silki is very, very shy and is still reluctant to be petted or held. Hopefully time and lots of TLC will change that. Links to this post. Links to this post. Labels: white Siamese kitten. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States.

Tumbleweed Crossing is about living on the desert west of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Monday, April 27, 2015. Building a Tree or Shrub. Many people look at growing a tree as they would raising a child or caring for a pet. They think they have to sweet talk the plant, play music for it, pet it, give it special TLC. For some people this might be the proper approach for growing trees or plants, but not for us builders. Next tine you are looking for a new project – give this a try. Build a Tree! Desert Garden

My gardens in the desert southwest and other flowers that grow in our region near Palm Springs, CA. Sunday, March 4, 2018. My sunflower garden this year. Since I am now retired (as of May 1, 2016.), almost 2 years ago, I can no longer to spend outrageous amounts on my garden passion. Therefore, this year I kept it simple: I book the sunflower seeds in the birdseed and planted those. I also have sunflowers coming up from all the dropped and scattered birdseed from the feeders!
