And cobalt blue and light red (and a touch of raw sienna). Maybe light red was the wrong red – would cadmium red have worked better? I know which ones I like best though! It just takes two…. Unusually they remained upright (for the most part) until the rain lashed down, knocked most of the flowers off and left just one or two splattered on the ground. This was one I rescued.
