Scribbles of Life in Manila. City Park →. April 28, 2015. One of the leading ice cream brands in the Philippines is Magnolia. In fact, I was told that a sprawling Magnolia Ice Cream House once stood where Robinsons Magnolia Mall is now. (Hence, the name! Although there’s still an ice cream parlor in the area, it’s tiny compared to what it used to be. And a lot more crowded too! Personally, I find Magnolia too sweet! But I indulge once in a while, especially when I’m with family and friends.

Starting tomorrow, the flag down rate will be rolled back to Php30.00 for ordinary taxis, and Php60.00 for airport taxis!
