Belly Chronicle's: I Should Not Have Home Schooled Her.........
http://bellychronicles.blogspot.com/2008/11/i-should-not-have-home-schooled-her.html
November 28, 2008. I Should Not Have Home Schooled Her. My daughter loves to cook. Unfortunately for her I have never cooked a Thanksgiving turkey. My mom always cooks the turkey. Keri decided that she would cook a Thanksgiving turkey for all of her friends and have a traditional Thanksgiving meal. So her and her best friend started on their turkey cooking agenda. With the turkey broth and cornbread. It's the best I've ever had. My Mom's dressing. But wait, What's this? It was the neck of the Turkey!

Belly Chronicle's: Catch Donna.....the birth supply, that is!
http://bellychronicles.blogspot.com/2009/02/catch-donnathe-birth-supply-not-baby.html
February 12, 2009. Catch Donna.the birth supply, that is! Donna and I have done many many births together. Many different places.big ones, small ones, inside, outside. The smallest place I remember birthing a baby was at the Renaissance. Fair http:/ www.texrenfest.com/themedweekends.html. In Fort Worth, There was a couple who worked there, living in a motor home in the park. You know the kind you pull behind your car? The husband though I won't forget! Not our typical clientele. Later Donna and I laughed...

JoMommaLee: November 2011

Family, Friends, Food, Fun. Saturday, November 12, 2011. GAPS and our family. Since embarking on this adventure, many of you have asked me about the GAPS diet so I thought I'd just write a. Little blog post about it. As far as what’s allowed and not allowed…. Anything bread-like is made with coconut flour or almond flour, and local raw honey (which is great for seasonal allergies, another nuisance of ours) is used instead of sugar. JoMommaLee: May 2013
http://jomommalee.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Family, Friends, Food, Fun. Friday, May 31, 2013. I went to the Mom Heart Conference this past weekend and it was so encouraging! This was my second year to attend and I'm so glad I did. This should definitely be a permanent event on my yearly calendar. Except next year I think I'll stay the night at the hotel. =). Last year I blogged all my notes, and now I'm here to do the same! The theme this year was "The Heartshaping Mother". how to open, fill and hold your child's heart. When they ask "Why? Say "Il...

JoMommaLee: Why Santa doesn't come to our house
http://jomommalee.blogspot.com/2009/12/why-santa-doesnt-come-to-our-house.html
Family, Friends, Food, Fun. Saturday, December 5, 2009. Why Santa doesn't come to our house. It's that time of year again. Santa Claus, presents, snow, red and green decorations, food, baby Jesus. I love Christmas, it's probably the only thing that I look forward to about the winter (besides my birthday)! This time of year is when Julia gets asked, "What do you want Santa to bring you? Did you get to sit on Santa's lap? Etc I try to be as gracious as possible and just respond, "We don't do Santa.". I wan...

JoMommaLee: 20 Easter Egg Treats Sans the Sugar Rush
http://jomommalee.blogspot.com/2011/04/20-easter-egg-treats-sans-sugar-rush.html
Family, Friends, Food, Fun. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. 20 Easter Egg Treats Sans the Sugar Rush. The last couple of months I've been thinking about Easter coming up and the imminent surge of candy that it typically brings, i.e. egg hunts and baskets! While I love to watch my little girl find those colorful little eggs and open up her basket, it would be so nice if we could avoid all the junk! All I could come up with on my own to put in Easter eggs was miniature raisin boxes. Exciting, I know. A Little R...

JoMommaLee: My baby girl is SIX!
http://jomommalee.blogspot.com/2013/06/my-baby-girl-is-six.html
Family, Friends, Food, Fun. Monday, June 3, 2013. My baby girl is SIX! We've been in California over a year now and this is the first blog post I've written. Hmm. It's crazy that my little sweetheart, Julia Brynne, is turning six. SIX. SIX! I became a mom the day she was born and it has been quite a ride the last 6 years. We've had ups and downs, and being a mom has been harder than I ever imagined, but just as fulfilling as I always hoped it would be. But enough about me! She's growing up so fast! They ...

JoMommaLee: My Thoughts on Vaccines
http://jomommalee.blogspot.com/2015/02/my-thoughts-on-vaccines.html
Family, Friends, Food, Fun. Tuesday, February 10, 2015. My Thoughts on Vaccines. To tell the truth, I have some hesitation in opening my heart and mind on the issue because it’s SO controversial and I know that some of you are very passionate about your beliefs and I don’t want it to hurt our friendship. Hopefully it’s strong enough to handle some disagreement and we can both acknowledge that the other is genuinely trying to make the right decision for their children. Everyone who chooses not to vaccinat...
