Monday, December 25, 2006. Funniest movie of the year.maybe the decade. An engrossing story about broken-down, beat-up and self absorbed individuals bound together by the bonds of a family. Sunday, February 18, 2007. Prophet George - Part II. Went back to Dixie for the week on project work. The weather was great - much warmer than the frozen tundra of the North East. I'm sure the Yanks were wondering: "where's global warming when you need it? On Friday night, Prophet George was a beacon again, and I couldn't be happier. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Exhibit A: I am checking my voice mail from my cell phone. The automated operator asks me to press "1" to "listen to [my] new messages". Naturally, I press the "1" key on my laptop. Exhibit B: I go out to dinner, downtown, with my team. I pre-pay for a parking ticket, nothing comes out. I try again. Nothing comes out again. Then I realize the tickets are printing on the other side of the machine. Now I've pre-paid for two parking tickets for one car. Sunday, January 27, 2008.

Friday, September 26, 2008. The Eagle Has Landed. Dinner at B's place on Tuesday night was very good. My second Iftar dinner this month. What a wonderful family.what an experience. Class is definitely a state of mind. So, I found out late on Wednesday that my transfer had actually gone through a week earlier. Sunday, April 30, 2006. Crazy week at work. Glad it's over. Ditched the malaria pill. I'll take my chances and save my liver any further sorrow. I didn't miss the crazy vivid dreams or bouts of depression either. On friday night, I met a co-worker at Dastar. Tried the peach hookah, which was good. The garlic-yogurt marinated and slow cooked chicken kabobs were amazing. I would say that Paradise has some serious competition. The company was awesome. Posted by DimaFA2013 at 1:36 AM. Worked late Thursday night, then met some ex-pats at Ginger Court's top level area, which is wide open to the elements. Had a beer, then headed back to my room around 1:00 AM. And finally, what part of "you don't have to watch the movie if you don't want to" don't you get? I would have gone with Huey, or Louey, or even Screwy!

Sunday, November 12, 2006. Four Crore and Seven Lachs Ago. It seems that the Indian numbering system is confusing some of our expats. One of them was under the impression that road signs with monetary amounts on them were incorrectly printed with the commas in the wrong places. I'm not saying this kind of stuff doesn't happen here, but anyone coming to India to do business should at least learn the basics about crores. To meet me in front. The party was indeed eventful. Thursday, December 07, 2006. Something very interesting is percolating. My remaining time here is dwindling to a matter of days. If anyone were to ask me last year at this time if I were ever going to see the Taj. Early in the morning, grabbed a car and driver for the next three days and were well on our way to Agra by noon.
