The stunning pagoda country of Ben Bullen State Forest is in iminent danger. Instead of adding it to Gardens of Stone National Park, the NSW Government is likely to allow its destruction by a huge open cut coal mine. Most people who visit this unique and amazing area can't believe this is actually happening. The 'News Article' in this video is fiction. The damage to the Ben Bullen pagoda country is not. Dargan Arch

Dargan Arch is an erosion residual, all that remains of a collapsed cave or overhang. The Dargan Arch is large, maybe 15 metres long, 10 metres high and 8 metres wide. The Arch lies in a generally east-west alignment. It is possible to walk across the Dargan Arch but care is needed. The Dargan Arch is quite spectacular, one of the must-see geological features of the Blue Mountains. Unfortunately, rock climbers have installed bolts on the top and on the underside of the Arch. Airly Turret is a rocky peak about 2 kilometres south-east of Mt Airly and adjacent to the south-western slopes of Genowlan Mountain. The are excellent views of the surrounding countryside from the summit of Airly Turret. The sheer cliffs and high pagodas make Airly Turret look hard to climb.
