Monday, November 24, 2014. King of the Stump. We love to get outside each weekend, whether it be a hike or a bike ride. So, Sunday we headed over to the Petersburg National Battlefield for a short hike. We tried to beat the rain. We did for the most part. It really was a nice hike. I so enjoy getting fresh air. We usually only have one beer soap on hand at a time, and for the Christmas season it was most appropriate to choose the ever-so-popular Hardywood Park Craft Brewery's Gingerbread Stout. Dynamo actually came up with the idea for this batch, which incorporates these adorable gingerbread men into each bar! He's quite clever don't you think? Good enough to eat! It was a fairly sunny day out, so I guess Savannah thought it should be spent outside, not inside. It is our first real, big vacation in almost two years and we can't wait. Phones are not going to work where we are going and I think that's pretty damn cool!
