I am writing this blog to hold myself accountable for my weight loss and training for a half marathon. Saturday, January 10, 2009. Week 1 - Weigh-In. Oh, my gosh! I can't believe it. So I weighed this morning when I got up, and since I've not worked out this week like I planned, I was not expecting anything great. But somehow I lost 8 lbs. anyway! So anyway, now I'm a lot more motivated because now I'm actually going somewhere. I hope everyone else is doing well on their goals, too. Take care, everyone!

I didn't run only to save my legs for tomorrow. My goal is to run every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Supposedly, that will prevent injuries so here's to hoping. I have learned a lot just in the 5 days I have been on this new Paleo diet. For one, I've learned that cucumbers and zucchini look ALOT alike. I'm such an idiot. If you look back at my post from Day One. You will see that I clearly used cucumbers instead of zucchini. What a dummy! Definitely going to make those again.
