The Wangsgard Family: October Festivities
http://toddwangsgard.blogspot.com/2009/12/october-festivities.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. Royal Family Theme this year. This is the view our trick or treaters had when they came to our door. Princess Jayci got the swine flu and couldn't go out, so she sat on her royal throne, guarded by her knight in his saucer and greeted out visitors. Her brothers did the footwork for her so she still got the loot. Hmm.not too shaby! She might try that again next year! Ready for Trick or Treating! My little Knight in shining armor. The Halloween Parade at pre-school.

Friday, January 30, 2009. Blue Springs' New Claim to Fame. David Cook is so last year. We were heading to the airport this afternoon to send Jana and Bridger off to see family in Vegas and Utah for a week (that's another story), when what to our wondering eyes did appear? The Oscar Meyer Wienermobile! We gave out a cheer! Blue Springs is on the map yet again. Thursday, January 22, 2009. Be Proactive" - It's an Occupational Hazard. Every time I eat! So, at least semiannually." She's not amused. After a fe...

The Wangsgard Family: November
http://toddwangsgard.blogspot.com/2010/01/november.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. This is Bridger's favorite sleeping position-folded over in sitting. He's a very flexible little dude! Conner won his first pinewood derby! Sadly Dawson had swine flu, so I was home with him and Todd was out of town, so we weren't there to cheer him on. But he did great! He also got first place at BMX that week and was flyin' high! These are our buddies across the street - the Blackwells - hangin' with the kids and enjoying some lunch. This is Conner and his friend Alyssa.

Friday, January 1, 2010. We got an amazing snow storm on Christmas Eve and all day Christmas day. The kids were so thrilled to have a white Christmas and tons of snow to play in. Todd did a little playin' in the snow too. Not to be outdone by his brother-in-laws beautifully rounded snowman on Trisha's blog, Todd created "Giagantor the snow man" standing at 8 1/2 feet tall. He had to use a ladder to create the face and put the magic hat on top. Nothin wrong with a little junk in the trunk. Nothin' like a ...

The Wangsgard Family: February 2009

Friday, February 13, 2009. Pay It Forward. Or Even Backward! I had an experience yesterday that I had to share. On my drive back from South Bend, Indiana to Chicago Midway airport, I encountered an unexpected act of kindness directed toward me. As I was pulling up to a toll booth on I-90, the attendant gave me a big smile, raised the gate arm, and said, "You can go. The car in front of you paid for your toll! How much is the toll? Isn't that what taxes are for? Now it was MY turn! Should I or shouldn't I?

The Wangsgard Family: August 2008
http://toddwangsgard.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 7, 2008. Bridger Evan Wangsgard was born on August 6th (three weeks early) at 10:19 am at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. He was 19 inches long and 6 pounds 9 ounces. Perfect in every way. We had decided not to find out his gender. But that wasn't the only surprise. Bridger came with the additional blessing of Down syndrome. Mom is doing very well. Thanks to all the members of our church who helped with babysitting, meals and especially to Melissa Stracener for bein...
