Life with the Westphals. Thursday, January 22, 2009. Yesterday we went in for our ultrasound and found out we are adding a little girl to our family. Kaden was with us when we found out and couldn't be more excited. When the technician said it was a girl Kaden's remark was "YES! He's pretty excited to be a big brother. My battle with Cancer. July 31, 2008. Day 10 - My tastebuds are back again! Things are starting to look up! Last night Tammy made a blueberry parfait and I could taste it and it was wonderful. Today at the Clinic Dr. McSweeny. Said that I don't have to have one of the iv drugs that was every 8 hours. And he said that the kids can come back down! It will probably be around August 11 th. My battle with Cancer. March 22, 2009. Newest PET scan results. So last Friday the 13 th. I had a routine PET scan. Thursday I went to Dr. Kanard. We are going to wait a couple of months until all of the bugs are out of our house and no one is sick and then take the PET scan again. Hopefully next time it will be a whole lot cheaper and accurate. In the mean time I will meet with Dr. McSweeney again to review the scan with him. Sunday, March 22, 2009. June 11, 2009 at 9:33 PM. My battle with Cancer. July 26, 2010. 2 year old bone marrow! So it has been 2 years since my transplant. You must know that things have been going well since no news is good news; and it's been a whole year since my last post. The last time I saw Dr. McSweeny. Was in May, and it was about 10 minutes. My battle with Cancer. September 26, 2008. Day 70 - Isaac loves the song "Let it Be". I have gone to a lot of doctors in the last two weeks, but for once most of the doctors were not for me! I took Lizzie to a dermatologist last Monday to see what was still wrong with her skin. She still had a rash that she would scratch every night on her head. She gave me a sample of a cleanser instead of shampoo and it has worked pretty well. It is called Cera. Cream So far it seems like the Cera. He did a routine.
