Friday, September 19, 2008. Her little ritual reminds me of the McClellan wave.the McClellans waving goodbye will continue to wave or just hold up their hand till you are no longer in sight - and those in the car also continue waving till no longer in sight - however long that may be! Grandpa Mac and Uncle Bruce are pros at this and it has been a fun little tradition that is now part of our family. Enough to even break a little skin through my jeans. Crazy dog! The Makings of a Home. Friday, January 18, 2008. Yes, it's true. Micah turn 5 yesterday. I didn't think that it would affect me but I sure got nostalgic yesterday. I didn't cry but I had a strange reaction. I can't really describe how I felt. It was like I coudn't believe that my baby Micah turned 5! He's not in the Sunbeams anymore and he is going to start kindergarten this fall! Where have the last five years gone? Where is my baby? Now, I'm wondering how I will react when he starts kindergarten? Thoma...

The Makings of a Home: December 2008
http://hms-rms.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
The Makings of a Home. Sunday, December 21, 2008. The best part of Thanksgiving dinner at Mike and Vicki's has got to be the pies. There were 7 pies for 12 people! Vicki made the lemon, caramel, cherry, and pecan pies. I made my famous chocolate mousse and a pumpkin pie. Deb made her famous banana cream pie. Brent surprised us all by making his old fashion raisin cookies. They were all so yummy! And yes I had a little slice of them all by the end of the day). I just love the holidays!

My Aunt Linda and cousin Kim drove up to help as well (thanks guys! It's still not completely done. I want to do something fun (paint wise) in our bedroom and possibly in the kids bathroom. I also have not filled up all of the pot ledges either. I have to wait until I get some more money. Decorating is expensive! Pot ledge in kitchen/dining area.
