Doggone Running: Boston Marathon 2011--A race report
http://doggonerunning.blogspot.com/2011/04/boston-marathon-2011-race-report.html
One man's (and two dogs') running journey. Saturday, April 23, 2011. Boston Marathon 2011- A race report. Boston Marathon—a race report. As Dawgdoc and I churn out the 22. Mile of the 2011 Boston Marathon, the crowds call us by name: “C’mon Eric…Go Jay! The roaring crowd cheers us as we blaze towards Boston. We are racing—not against each other, but with. I ran next to Jay (AKA dawgdoc on the discussion board that I frequent) for a brief part of the marathon. Don’t get me wrong. I met a lot of people dur...
Doggone Running: Chicago Marathon 10-10-10 Race Report

One man's (and two dogs') running journey. Chicago Marathon 10-10-10 Race Report. Eric (Teamcam’s) Chicago 10-10-10 Race Report. I don’t do anything moderately. This personality trait is both a blessing and a curse. I hear that there are people out there who have an occasional alcoholic beverage, or run as a hobby, or give one hour a week to Boy Scouts of America, or write a short race report. I am not that guy. I commit and tend to think that if a little. Is good, then a lot. Is better, and too much.
Doggone Running: December 2010
http://doggonerunning.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
One man's (and two dogs') running journey. Friday, December 31, 2010. I am sure that the people I interact with on a daily basis will be appreciative of an outlet where I can discuss my running, my dogs, and anything else that is occupying my thoughts as to spare them having to listen to me talk about it. Of course, I offer no guarantees. Perhaps now they will have to listen to me blather on about blogging. Who knows? Of course, I don't want this blog to be a glorified version of a training log. I am...
Doggone Running: Canyonlands Half Marathon Race Report
http://doggonerunning.blogspot.com/p/canyonlands-half-marathon-race-report_21.html
One man's (and two dogs') running journey. Canyonlands Half Marathon Race Report. Richard (Running Denver) and I jogged away from the starting line on the narrow canyon road, weaving through the crowds gathering for the start, toward the back where we could find some room to warm up and stretch unencumbered by the crowd that was hemmed in by a steep, rocky canyon wall, a starting line, and a steep drop to the Colorado river below. Annual Canyonlands Half Marathon in Moab, Utah. We had all met up the nigh...
Doggone Running: Hair of the Dog
http://doggonerunning.blogspot.com/2011/03/hair-of-dog.html
One man's (and two dogs') running journey. Monday, March 21, 2011. Hair of the Dog. According to Wikipedia, the phrase, “Hair of the dog” originally referred. To treating a dog bite by putting the hair of the biting dog on the wound to avoid rabies. Of course, in our modern usage, it refers to having a drink in the morning of the booze that we over indulged in the night before in the hopes of ameliorating a hangover. Some dog replaced my lower legs with wood while I slept. Everything hurt, and I could ba...

Doggone Running
One man's (and two dogs') running journey. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Will the Real Runner Please Stand Up? I think it was January 2008 when I listened to a voicemail that started, “Hello, I am looking for Eric Cameron, the marathoner….”. The voicemail was from a fellow Mr. Cameron who was also registered for Boston in April of 2009 and has a penchant for tracking down members of the Cameron clan. I have heard/read people refer to being a real. It usually comes in conjunction with a goal or achievement.
