Monday, August 17, 2015. On Burns and Birthdays. Emily had to go to the doctor for her burned fingers. She is going back for the next couple of days to have the dressings changed. Poor little thing. Today was Carol's birthday. After a quiet day at home, which included lunch (bacon and french toast from chef George), went to Convivium-Osteria. A local Portuguese restaurant, followed by presents and a wonderful lemon cake (chef Anna) back in Douglass Street. Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY, USA.
