The flextail fish had some pretty flexy fins with a large cutaway at their base as this pic from Paul Jenson shows. yeah well one flexed right off leaving me doing my best finless wood surfboard impression. Put some new ones on, moved them back a bit and also off the rail to get them more under my feet. Feels good. Monday, September 28, 2009. A 7'2" jellybean shaped single fin. In tech speak the bottom would be some sort of tri plane hull? Books of wood life.
