Domestic Goddesses in Training

Domestic Goddesses in Training. Tuesday, August 9, 2016. I have made this desert 3 times this summer. It is delicious, light, and fresh! And people love it! I thought I should share this treasure before summer ends. 2 cups sliced strawberries. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. 2 cups heavy cream. Mint leaves, for garnish. In a blender, combine the strawberries (reserve a few slices for garnish), sugar and lemon juice. Puree until smooth. Push the berry mixture through a sieve and discard the seeds. 1 (4-o...

http://domesticgoddessesintraining.blogspot.com/2014/10/a-semi-lazy-week.html

Domestic Goddesses in Training. Monday, October 20, 2014. I think the week ahead might be semi-lazy for me. Not feeling up to cooking anything extravagant, so will be keepin' things simple! Meeting a girlfriend for dinner. Leaving Ryan with marinated chicken, couscous, and broccoli to make for himself (and extra for me for lunch tomorrow). Chipotle lime salmon, asparagus, rice. Going to a new place called Taco Flats. Cause I need to blog about it on Thursday. Going to friends house for dinner. Picture Wi...

Domestic Goddesses in Training: Week of March 9

http://domesticgoddessesintraining.blogspot.com/2015/03/week-of-march-9.html

Domestic Goddesses in Training. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Week of March 9. Made this Tamale Pie. Recipe last night and really like it! Lots of leftovers. Ryan got seconds. Next time I would either cook it in a smaller pan or use more meat/bean mixture so that the filling/cornbread ratio was a little more even. In pa n before I spread cornbread:. Forgot the cilantro. oops. If it had been nicer weather or closer to summer, I def woulda served with grilled okra- that woulda been really good with this.

Friday, January 24, 2014. I have been attending the Pasadena Bead and Design Show for 4 years now, and it is an event I look forward to twice a year. It takes place mid January and mid June or July. For the past two years, I have met up with my friend Cova-Lee, of Cobalt and Copper. And we have a blast shopping together! This time, I went alone on opening day as Cova-Lee had to work. Her work can be found here: Tangible Light. I can hardly wait to see them! At Bead Carnival are always a pleasure to chat ...

Samantha: The Domestic Goddess

Samantha: The Domestic Goddess. Thursday, March 5, 2009. Hi, my name is Samantha, this is my son Devin and he's four years old. We just moved in the house behind you, and wanted to introduce ourselves and was wondering if your kids would be interested in playing with Devin every once in a while. Of course, after replaying my speech in my head over and over, they weren't home. So Devin, true to form, gets upset. where are my new friends mommy? So, being a total mom, I take him and walk him to where the ki...

Domestic Goddessing

Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Domestic goddessing can be a drag sometimes. It can be mundane, crazy, fabulous and terrifying all in one day. Here are my top 5 sanity savers:. I keep a box of wine in the pantry so that I can have a glass in the evenings. Don't be snooty- they make very good boxed wine these days and it will save you from wasting a whole bottle when you just want a glass or two. My faves are California Black Box, Pepperwood Grove and Bota Box. As little as possible. 3 Synchronized Nap Time.
