FREEBIE* FRENCH SPEAKING PUNCH CARDS! Today, I am sharing my way of encouraging pupils to speak French in the classroom! Just click on the image below to download this freebie:. These adorable punch cards are great fun and really motivate pupils to speak the language. As pupils get more confident, I start becoming more demanding of them and only punch a pupil's card if they've said an entire sentence. Stickers or any other incentives will work great too :). Have a great week! Create Yours @ NackVision.

The Languages Resources Blog. Phoney Flipping aka Phlipping. Today I had a class that I was a bit too scared to flip with! I just knew that no matter what sanctions I applied, very few of them would do the home learning and watch the video on the Conditional Tense. Most children seemed to engage quite well with the video (they were certainly a lot more silent than if I were standing at the front of the room attempting to explain it! Not quite flipping, I know, but more of a phoney flip or phlip! Dom̵...

E-Bac news | The Languages Resources Blog
https://languagesresources.wordpress.com/2015/06/16/e-bac-news
The Languages Resources Blog. Its been a while since I’ve written as my personal life has been a bit busy, but I just wanted to talk about the new government’s plans with the E-Bac. If you don’t know, the E-Bac (English Baccalaureate) is a measurement of achievement in English, maths, science, geography or history and a modern foreign language. A forward-thinking school would also not let the E-Bac marginalise any creative subject if timetables and option blocks are carefully thought through. Just becaus...

A blog dealing with various aspects of teaching MFL in secondary school. Follow me on Twitter @JoQuatsch. Sunday, 12 October 2014. Essay writing - structure. I'll come to the fish in a bit. In the meantime, here are some thoughts on helping sixth-formers plan essays. Well, that is what the essay structure should look like. I saw this demonstrated many moons ago when I was just starting out, and I've used it ever since - the image is clear and really gets the point across. The conclusion is the tail.
