http://switzerlandgc.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 24, 2014. Spring Luncheon - See You in September? We closed out another garden club year with a pot luck luncheon at the Bailey Ranch. The resident horses trotted out to welcome us as we drove along the winding entrance. The weather was beautiful, and as you can see, the spot for our gathering was idyllic. Everyone brought a dish. Of course there was food enough for an army. All very tasty. And this was just the main table! Desserts were under an oak tree. Thursday, May 1, 2014. New for 201...

The Garden Club of Switzerland: IN MEMORY OF CAROLYN C KELLIHAN
http://switzerlandgc.blogspot.com/2015/06/in-memory-of-carolyn-c-kellihan.html
Monday, June 22, 2015. IN MEMORY OF CAROLYN C KELLIHAN. Our long-time and most dear garden club member, Carolyn Kellihan, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2015. Carolyn's serene presence was always at our meetings, and she was the very first member to renew for 2016. Although she was quiet, you always knew that she was attentive to everything, and always gracious. We all will miss Carolyn but take comfort in the fact that she is now free from all cares and pain. The Garden Club of Switzerland: A Bloomin' Busy April
http://switzerlandgc.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-bloomin-busy-april.html
Monday, May 11, 2015. A Bloomin' Busy April. April just flew by. With a bloomin' bouquet of activities. Our garden was already humming with the wings of pollinators, including this weathered monarch, sunning itself (perhaps laying eggs) on a milkweed. The condition of its wings suggested it has over-wintered here (the season being milder-than-average) or had encountered some disturbance (probably human, given that monarch's "poisonous" nature keeps it off the wildlife menu). FFGC has been on top of sever...
