Saturday, May 31, 2008. Ah, sweet air conditioning. There was central air with the mobile home when we bought it; a two-year-old unit, actually. A/C was one of the reasons I wanted a different place to live. The deal with the mobile home mover was, he'd move the trailer, and once it was on-site, he'd charge up the A/C for us; this is standard procedure for mobile home movers. He's disappeared off the face of the earth. He doesn't answer his home phone OR cell phone. I don't remember what I told you.".

Writing about her really laid her on my heart, and when Cliff and I decided to go for a spin on the Honda, I suggested we visit her at the nursing home, less than twenty miles away. Scott would take us up on the invitation we issue every year. Our little group was very pleased. My granddaughter believes that holiday meals absolutely have to have a blueberry pie. I have missed that since we used to go years in between visits. But all in all, things are good. Gabe will have all his "cancer" check ups here in the next few weeks, so that is always an anxious time for me. Hopefully, I will start using this more often.
