Tuesday, December 13, 2005. I will rejoice and be glad in the Lord. And greatly will I sing. My soul will exult in the Lord my God. Making much of the Lord my King. The world may wonder and ask me why. And surely they must know. So I will sing with glad shouts of joy. The reasons for my hope. I have been clothed in garments pure. And wrapped in robes so white. As a bridegroom decks himself with crowns. And his bride with jewels so bright. And may they see that as from earth. A garden may spring up.

A Place of Rest. Thoughtful chats and random spats concerning life's little adventures, learning as we go, resting in the Truth of Christ, and kneeling at the Throne of God. Thursday, September 11, 2008. Making Room for "Baby". Has it been so long since I last wrote something on this thing? I'm ashamed to log my thoughts, as my journaling inconsistency is obviously. My husband, Jim, and I are going to have a BABY. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Welcome to Me Blog! I'm an extroverted introvert who loves spen...

OK, I need to post. It's been shamefully too long. And school's out for practically three glorious months, so I have no excuse. What's the latest drama in Jen's life? That would be my unwelcomed wisdom teeth surfacing. Any of you all have any great "wisdom tooth" stories? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm an ext...

Monday, December 05, 2005. When time permits and salty ships are dredged onto the shore. And growing space can now replace what chaos was before. The waves of thought you all have sought may soon begin to tide. The broken boards of ocean hordes have lost their place to hide. Now ashore they evermore will burn with holy fire. Their garments blaze to warm the face of those who can't expire. And may the light so reach the blinded eyes of those at sea. Posted by Jason Shaw @ 4:00 PM. Do you know me?

Saturday, February 04, 2006. Well friends, I am a single man no longer, as many of you know (anybody who reads my blog will already know). You can catch a ride on my link to Donna's website for the real goods, but here's my attempt to describe recent events. My proposal to Ms. Donna Millard is actually a rather long story, but I will summarize by dividing it into three parts: (1) a theology of diamond rings, (2) a change of plans, and (3) a stroll on the beach. Well, here's a hint: my roommates and I hav...

November 04, 2005. What are the offices of the church? The Bible says there are two offices, elders or overseers and deacons (1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1). What do you think? What is your view on elders and deacons?
