Kingston and Chapmans Pool - Dorset Pub Walks. A series of scenic walks in Dorset. Kingston and Chapman's Pool. Chapman's Pool from the west. This short, but varied, walk initially ascends through woodland before running along the top of a ridge towards the sea, overlooking a deep valley containing the Encombe estate. It then runs eastwards along the cliff-top before descending to Chapman's Pool, a semi-circular bay. It then returns to Kingston by a gradual ascent up a dry valley. Stourpaine and Hod Hill.

This pretty short walk from the village of Worth Matravers visits the old stone quarry on the cliffs at Winspit and the secluded cove of Seacombe. For part of its route it follows the South West Coast Path along cliff tops. Starts and ends in Worth Matravers (grid reference SY 974776). Use OS Explorer map OL15 or Landranger 195. Distance: approximately 2.6 miles (4.1 Km).
