Joe from NYC Blog: Everything Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and Buffalo Media: My Bengals vs Bills preseason recap
http://joefromnyc.blogspot.com/2010/08/bengals-vs-bills-preseason-recap.html
Saturday, August 28, 2010. My Bengals vs Bills preseason recap. 2nd to last preseason game in the record books! Did I ever tell you that I hate preseason football? After a strange start for CJ Spiller, who was running backwards instead of forward, he ended up putting on a show for the rest of the half by gaining 85 yards in total offense (52 rushing and 33 receiving) and two touchdowns. The guy is so explosive that when he gets the ball in his hands, look out! Something tells me that I'm going to need a ...

http://joefromnyc.blogspot.com/2010/08/briefing.html
Thursday, August 26, 2010. OK, can we please stop with the name calling of the kids who decided to make immature comments about Trent Edwards' California and hair roots? For god sakes, I heard WGR's. Paul Hamilton mention the following: "The action of these kids are a testament to the youth of America for lacking respect." HUH! Hasn't your station made a killing off of trashing teams, athletes and callers? Talk about lack of respect. Can you say kettle calling the pot black? So, I watched ESPN's. Gotta g...

Joe from NYC Blog: Everything Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and Buffalo Media: Who should be number 2?
http://joefromnyc.blogspot.com/2010/08/who-should-be-number-2.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. Who should be number 2? I know, all summer I've been hoping for Brohm to take the #2 job because he represents the unknown. However, I'm now changing my tune and it has to do with Trent Edwards. If the Bills are as confident in Edwards as they seem to be regarding his preseason performance, then the job should go to Fitzpatrick. However, the stats have nothing to do with why I'd go with Fitzpatrick. However, in the meantime, if Edwards is the unquestioned #1 option, you would wan...

It’s A Little Funny. August 12, 2010 at 12:50 pm Posted in Contracts. The NHL won the case and Kovalchuk’s contract was wiped out. Which is awesome, because seriously, that contract was ridiculous. And I do realize this might just be a scare tactic. Doesn’t make it any less funny.). Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Cutting It Close. | The Fanatical Fan

July 26, 2010 at 11:47 am Posted in Contracts. The NHLPA has until today to file a grievance about the voiding of the Kovalchuk contract or take it to arbitration or whatever the exact terminology is for it. And while this whole situation is fascinating to me, there is literally. Going on right now. So even if I wasn’t fascinated by it, I’d still have to pay attention because there’s nothing else to distract me. Ilya Kovalchuk, you successfully killed the summer. Thanks a million. CALLED IT. (Welcome To My Other Favorite Team, Mo! August 2, 2010 at 8:52 pm Posted in Brooks Laich. I don’t have anything to say about Tim Kennedy getting bought out because the whole thing is just too weird and I don’t get it at all.). The other thing is that Mo must have been pretty desperate if he agreed to play in Buffalo, because let me tell you something: Buffalo is not his favorite place. Regardless, I’m just glad that for once I was right. Welcome to Buffalo, Mo! Leave a Comment ». You are comme...

Would You Look At That. September 6, 2010 at 9:50 am Posted in Randomness. It’s September. I know. I can’t believe it. It’s getting cold out and I go back to school tomorrow (not talking about that) and training camps open soon (woooo! I haven’t blogged in quite some time because nothing’s really been happening. Sorry about that. Kovalchuk is a Devil. I’m so over that at this point. I think the Sabres signed some guys. I don’t really remember. I worry about them. Leave a Comment ». Enter your comment here.

I’m going to give you a little advice. There’s a force in the universe that makes things happen. And all you have to do is get in touch with it, stop thinking, let things happen, and be the ball. – Ty Webb,. In May 2007, three relative strangers started a sports blog called “The Goose’s Roost.” This is what’s left of it. Now works for the Buffalo Sabres and he’d love to beat you at trivia. The other original Roosters are also successful, affable human beings who miss you all dearly. Die by the Blade.
