After some time, that I spent on terrain pieces for Frostgrave, I needed some proper modelling - so I took out that USMC LAV-R I bought for Skirmish Sangin. The kit is pretty basic - I did not count the pieces, but I managed to put it all together in an hour or hour and a half. Can't remember I had so much fun with a kit.

Monday, November 30, 2015. Esterday during a rare, quiet extended reading period I finished reading Anna Politkovskaya's A Dirty War. Anna Politkovskaya (1958-2006) was a Russian reporter who wrote for Novaya Gazeta. Became famous for covering the 2nd Chechen War and notorious (in some circles) for exposing Putin's regime. Now I have to confess I knew newt to nothing about the late roman period I have a smattering of knowledge about early Rome but that's about it . These will be used for a Dux Britanniarum campaign at the Wyvern Wargamers Club but I would like to expand them into a larger late Roman army who knows it might be my first completed army!
