Musings of an Unconventional Teen. Response to Black Mirror – Is this Our Future? I just watched the second episode in Season 1 of Black Mirror (#2) and it completely fucked me off. Every genuine emotion is just marketed as another service people buy. The protagonist’s fucking real and serious speech becomes just an entertainment – something people can watch if they get bored – while the meaning/purpose of life is just to consume continuous streams of meaningless entertainment. What is the point of that?
