WWDC; San Fran days 4, 5, 6, and 7 - My Source Code
http://bovinator.livejournal.com/183245.html
Living Life; One Line of Code at a Time. WWDC; San Fran days 4, 5, 6, and 7. June 19th, 2009. Wednesday was a day for the iPhone developers, so I tagged along to sessions about the Interface Builder and developing iPhone applications. I tried my own hand at an iPhone application and found it surprisingly doable considering my exposure to the tools and language. That night, in my hotel room, I had my laptop's power adapter die on me, so I just watched TV before going to sleep. Stay at home dad.

[Infinite Loop] Pimping the Tech - My Source Code
http://bovinator.livejournal.com/184961.html
Living Life; One Line of Code at a Time. Infinite Loop] Pimping the Tech. March 9th, 2011. I thought I'd pimp my tech blog, which I've just moved to. Wordpress.com. I must say, WP is much cleaner and nicer to blog with. I. Was running my own WP blog on my own server, but updates were coming. Out way too fast for me to spend time constantly updating, so I saved. Myself the trouble and moved it. It's for all my technical epiphanies whilst programming and doing other. On over and take a look.

duck5: Cyclic v Linear
http://duck5.blogspot.com/2006/08/cyclic-v-linear.html
Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. Monday, August 07, 2006. Once upon a time, i was reading Sophie's World. The discussion was comparing the indo-european cyclical view of history, with the arab-semitic linear view of history. The issue seems to be the view makind has of the beginning and end of history, as clearly seen in the Bible, and the way that view is intertwined with the rather futile cyclical view of the world in, for example, Hinduism, where the point is to escape this stupid cycle.

duck5: Cradle.Cross.Crown.Choice Series
http://duck5.blogspot.com/2012/10/cradlecrosscrownchoice-series.html
Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. Friday, October 26, 2012. Cradle.Cross.Crown.Choice Series. Think it was good. All the talks are now up:. Why it is legitimate to search for God, and why that search is rightly begun in trying to understand Jesus. That Jesus willingly went to the cross points to a great problem, which can only be solved by his death. Jesus' message was that we need to choose between the true God that he reveals, or a false god of our own making. Posted by psychodougie @ 08:33.

duck5: Daniel 2 - The Preterist Reading
http://duck5.blogspot.com/2013/05/daniel-2-preterist-reading.html
Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. Thursday, May 09, 2013. Daniel 2 - The Preterist Reading. For some reason it's impossible to find a picture of the statue in Daniel 2 labelled normally. So here's mine. It's not complicated, and it is what Daniel pretty much is about. Daniel is set in the 6th Century BC, but is written to a 2nd Century BC audience. Now for the tricky bit. Well, not really. Posted by psychodougie @ 11:37. Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. View my complete profile. Other ...

http://duck5.blogspot.com/2006/10/one-stop-shop-two.html
Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. Wednesday, October 04, 2006. A quote from John Chapman at the MTS Challenge Conference. Formerly known as Club 5):. We need to be like the Americans and plant churches next to the Golden Arches. I think this may have been borrowed by him from someone else, but nevertheless it is something to think about; how different to the world do we need to be? If there's nothing wrong with Maccas, why not use them for us? If you really believe this, don't look here. If one ...

Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. Monday, September 03, 2012. It's been a while between chiasms. Not because they're not out there, more because I've not been posting. duck5: Euthanasia on 702
http://duck5.blogspot.com/2012/10/euthanasia-on-702.html
Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Every now and then I get a bit upset listening to the radio. Sometimes I even text in or call in. They were discussing euthanasia on Adam Spencer's show, and people were talking about how demeaning it is to be old and in need of care. Why is it not demeaning to care for an infant you love, but it is for a parent? The producer gave me a call, asked if I could say it on air. So I was on hold and then. Posted by psychodougie @ 18:40.

Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. Tuesday, May 14, 2013. This is more for my records than you, dear reader(s). Some articles I've found helpful in thinking about infant baptism. A 1990 article by Glenn Davies available for download while he's going for ABp: Covenant and Baptism. A post by Michael Jensen: Baptism in Reformation Anglicanism. Four posts by Bruce Pass: Why would I baptise my child? Posted by psychodougie @ 14:07. Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. View my complete profile.

http://duck5.blogspot.com/2014/03/letters-to-editor-smh-march-5-7.html
Procrastination, heresy, and navel-gazing. Thursday, March 06, 2014. Letters to the editor (SMH) March 5-7. Surely the conservative call for the freedom to spout offensive racist hate speech would be more convincing if it were matched by a similar call for the freedom to marry whomever you wished, regardless of gender, or the freedom to end your own life with dignity? Or is it that all freedoms are good, but some are better than others? They probably won't publish it, but I thought I'd have a crack.
