http://mariscoop.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm. Continuing to spread the love. for books! A bit ago, I blogged about a letter. For Z, the student I wrote about previously, I handed his books off to his teacher as he missed our tutoring session. Just as I was finishing up my day, he found me running, with a letter (below he talks about the MAP standardized test):. Dear Ms. Hirabayashi. Ellen, thank you so much for the gift of reading! Maryland and DC- the lost tales! Here are some pictures, some in random order:. I cove...

http://mariscoop.blogspot.com/2011/11/book-girls-guide-to-homelessness.html
Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm. Book: The Girls Guide to Homelessness. Wrapped in a life of social media and constant waves of information, reading a book seems like a distant pleasure. I have many books (and keep buying more), why? Perhaps it's because I fell in love with reading and books at a young age (thanks Mom! Last month, on a whim (which does not happen often in our household) we traveled to Vashon Island and fell in love with the township. We stayed at the Artist's Studio Loft. Brianna lives a...
Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm: December 2012

Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm. Gettin' back to the GOOD STUFF. We all know that life is just too short for the negatives. What do we have time for in this life? Different than the love for my partner, Simon and certainly different than the love for our dog, Tahi. My love for Teo is true, strong, consistent, natural, deep and so full of my every ounce of my soul. How did this happen? If not, how can this ...

Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm: Namaste!
http://mariscoop.blogspot.com/2007/05/namaste.html
Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm. I've been in Nepal for about 2 weeks now and still getting situated. The agency, Hope and Home,. Has been outstanding and so helpful from the moment I stepped out of the airport. The program director, Rabyn has created a relatively inexpensive and comprehensive program that not only integrates the volunteers into the Nepalese culture, but also places people in appropriate project sites. Or "How are you? Sorry, but the few pictures that are up on the blog, took hours to lo...
Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm: Week 1: 8 Little Ones
http://mariscoop.blogspot.com/2012/05/week-1-8-little-ones.html
Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm. Week 1: 8 Little Ones. Day 2 with Honey: Simon walked Honey to the Rainier Beach Veterinarian Hospital. I thought he was going to drive the pregnant mama, but maybe the walk helped "move things along") The staff took Honey in the back room and quickly came out to say that she was giving birth. What timing! The puppies' birthday is May 11th. Here are the puppies when they are one day old. Cute. Soft. Sleepy. Honey took to nursing right away and after a few days of transiti...
