Welcome to Wherever You Are. Whoops, forgot about yesterday. It was a good day, though. This is my walk home from my new choir which I love love love. The choir, that is, not my walk home. Though, it is not a bad walk, seeing as how it is a walk, not a 10 mile, 90 minute public transit journey / 30 minute drive, like my old choir was. New choir. Is SO MUCH BETTER. I had to go get my TB test read, so while I waited for the nice CVS Minute Clinic nurse practitioner, I played with filters on my phone camera.

Yet Another Potato Soup Recipe →. Leek and Sorrel Custards. March 18, 2010. We were lucky to find ourselves with some of spring’s first vegetables from Persephone Farm. And I wanted to make something interesting to honor the eggs and ingredients. This recipe is loosely adapted from the delicious Local Flavors. It looks and tastes awfully fancy, but it was astoundingly easy to make! Serves 4, individual portions. 1 cup chopped leeks. 3 tbls. butter. 4 ounces sorrel, chopped coarsely. 1 tsp kosher salt.
