Book Haven : The Husband's Secret
http://gregsbookhaven.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-husbands-secret_6.html
Escapism of the bookish sort. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Know someone- spouse, lover, etc- are examind here. I highly recommend The Husband's secret for anyone who wants a good read that will make you think about some of the things we take for granted. Everyday life sometimes drifts along until something happens to wake us up, or shake our lives- and I was fascinated by the what ifs of this book. The epilogue by the way really. Book Haven : Bookcover Spotlight Vitro
http://gregsbookhaven.blogspot.com/2015/08/bookcover-spotlight-vitro.html
Escapism of the bookish sort. Friday, August 7, 2015. The author has written three books, although they all operate as standalones- they're only loosely linked. Of the three, this one was my favorite. It has the best cover too, at least in my opinion. This was recently released in paperback and here is the cover for that version. August 7, 2015 at 1:35 PM. This does sound like my cup of tea, will have to check this one out! Heather Random Redheaded Ramblings. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Book Revi...

Book Haven : Murder in the Paperback Parlor
http://gregsbookhaven.blogspot.com/2015/08/murder-in-paperback-parlor_11.html
Escapism of the bookish sort. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Murder in the Paperback Parlor. I've been anxiously waiting for this one ever since I read the first book in this series, Murder in the Mystery Suite. Ellery Adams is a new to me author who writes several series- I'm currently reading these as well as her Books By The Bay series. The premise here is a resort that caters to book lovers- there are rooms named after literary figures, and several (! Libraries. I know, right? August 11, 2015 at 6:15 AM.

Book Haven : Review: A Dance with Dragons
http://gregsbookhaven.blogspot.com/2013/08/review-dance-with-dragons.html
Escapism of the bookish sort. Saturday, August 31, 2013. Review: A Dance with Dragons. A Dance with Dragons. Was the wait worth it? In a word- yes. It’s a good thing Melisandre is at the Wall- I think he’s going to need her help at this point. Having said all that, I got more mileage out of the secondary characters. Davos’ storyline takes him in an unexpected direction. Davos has always been a favorite of mine- he’s been raised to lordship but he is a common man by birth, with a commo...The most interest...

Book Haven : Review: The Nine Lives of Christmas
http://gregsbookhaven.blogspot.com/2014/10/review-nine-lives-of-christmas.html
Escapism of the bookish sort. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Review: The Nine Lives of Christmas. Zach is a nice guy and very much single- happily so. Bad experiences in the past have jaded him and he prefers to keep his relationships casual- no strings attached. He only intends to keep Ambrose for a while, until he can find a home for the cat- but when Zach meets Merilee in the pet food aisle, he finds that maybe he's not as happy as he thought he was. The journey there is fun. October 28, 2014 at 3:23 PM.

Book Haven : Bookcover Spotlight #9
http://gregsbookhaven.blogspot.com/2015/08/bookcover-spotlight-9.html
Escapism of the bookish sort. Friday, August 14, 2015. This isn't one of the better Mars books, but I've always liked the art. John Carter and Dejah Thoris on some great flying beast, with a fabulous city in the background. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY. Elrond's house was perfect, whether you liked food or sleep or story- telling or singing (or reading), or just sitting and thinking best, or a pleasant mixture of them all. Merely to be there was a cure for weariness. A Dance W...

Escapism of the bookish sort. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. All We Have Is Now. August 4, 2015 at 6:43 PM. I havent heard of this before but I like the pay it forward aspect and that the violence, etc is off stage. Its too bad Vince isnt more fully developed but it sounds like a good story overall.
