Welcome to Dumoine Valley Guides. Is located on the shores of the spectacular Ottawa river which surrounds the island and municipality of Rapides des Joachims (Swisha). The island is situated on the western border of Pontiac county in the Outaouais region. You will have the privilege to be surrounded by the most diverse deciduous forest in Québec where you will encounter the mighty White Pine as well as the Dumoine river which is considered to be the last wild river in southern Québec.

Here at the Dumoine Valley Guides we can help you get your trip started with our shuttle services. Tell us at what point on the river you would like to start your trip and we will bring you and your gear to where the adventure begins. Leave your vehicle with us or have us deliver it to where the river ends.

Henever you are fishing, hunting or just need a quiet place to spend the night, the Dumoine Valley Guides offers year long high quality accommodations in three options. All of our cottages offer clean potable water, hot water for bath and showers, satellite televisions, refrigerator, BBQ and deck to enjoy the fresh forest air. We provide all linens and cookware to provide the best possible experience during your stay. Renting of the entire lodge is only possible between the months of April and January.
