Hydration is probably the most important to get right. I remember watching my younger brother lose an important match from 5-2 up in a deciding set and not take on any liquid until the end of the match (8-10! This suggests a player should have 5 main goals:. A Dream (long-term) Goal. This I suggest should be outcome orientated such as 'becoming a professional player' or 'winning a grand slam' etc. A season goal. Again I suggest this should be outcome orientated, such as 'to beat a certain opponent' or to win a certain event'.
