And a finally healthy again, Yaya. Behind the water barrel - I found these two! Behind the kitchen door - found again! In the garden - they found me! Hope your Monday is cheerful! First Wonder Goes Deepest: August 2012
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Sunday, August 26, 2012. It doesn’t usually start to rain until about 11 am, but this morning we woke up and found the ground covered with wet “foot fungus” dew and rain clouds looming overhead, threatening to soon pour forth their unwanted blessings. Our group decided to share a meal together the forth Saturday of each month, in addition to studying God’s Word. This was to be our first such meeting. I walked out into the pouring rain a little before 11 this morning. Walking ba...

First Wonder Goes Deepest: November 2012
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. We celebrated Thanksgiving on Sunday with three fellow Americans, one Canadian, one Aussie and two South Africans. There wasn’t any turkey, but there were plenty of fresh veggies and berries from my garden. We feasted, laughed, chatted for hours and then ended the night by praying together. It was a lovely. And I do have so much to be thankful for…. I am thankful for our Didinga Bible study group. May God’s word do a mighty work amongst us all. I am ...

First Wonder Goes Deepest. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. School Opens for Term 3. We just finished our third week of our 3. Term of school here in Nagishot. After careful consideration and a great deal of prayer, I decided to make the move from City on the Hill Primary School back up the mountain to my old stomping grounds, Faith Primary School. I am so glad that I did! My new group of students is lovely! Once again, I can honestly say that I love my job! Praising God for that! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

First Wonder Goes Deepest: June 2012
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Friday, June 1, 2012. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to climb Mt. Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa (Tanzania’s Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest). In my former life, my Washingtonian life, I spent a great deal of my downtime in the mountains. Rarely a weekend passed in which I didn’t take advantage of the awesome hiking, climbing and endless wandering to be had in the Pacific Northwest’s wilderness. But anyways, as I was saying, I love the mountains. As far as ...

One week to pack up and clean out my house. One week to try to finish up my travel plans and answer e-mails. Why does time go so quickly! God bless you all. God has set eternity in the hearts of men. There is a time for everything,. And a season for every activity under heaven:. A time to be born and a time to die,.

Kevin and I sought out cooler climates, in the Hurri Hills. Our walks were often interrupted by termite mounds and such. We ran into a band of baboons that the dogs chased and then treed. These pics are from Kevin's wanderings. he likes to check out the caves, even though they have a lot of signs of hyenas. Not possible in Kalacha! After we set up the tents we.
