Most states, but for some reason or other the idea is still going strong in NJ. When we mentioned to the waitress that we almost went to Friendly's, she was quick to say that certainly the breakfast at Friendly's wasn't very good, except their home fries. I spent the next 15 minutes panicking, calling my dad, and beginning to dial AAA. I punched in the second to last digit of the AAA phone number, and it hit me. Dutch Girl in Miami. Friday, November 27, 2009. Traipsing through the woods…. The search is on as everyone in the car looks left and right trying to be the first to spot the actual picnic area. "What if we drove all this way and the picnic area is closed for the winter? With that comment lingering in the back of everyone's mind, someone sees the sign for the picnic area. Mom hits the breaks. We turn off the road. "Picnic Area Closed to the Public." Of course. But no sign. Journeyed home to Martinsburg.
