I don’t know if the earl of sandwich actually came up with them, but if he did kudos! Sandwiches are one of the reasons I didn’t starve during my undergrad, so I’m pretty happy with them. There are so many kinds of sandwiches. And what, exactly, makes a sandwich a sandwich? I mean, we don’t have. If you’re picky you can even cut the crusts off the bread.
