Modern Mexico City: Part 2. It's taken a snow and ice storm to get me back to blogging! Snuggled by the fire looking out at a winter wonderland is a perfect time to reflect on warm weather, sun, and spring travel adventures. Here I offer you some pictures of the hotel that we stayed in while in Mexico City. It's called Downtown Mexico City. It's a silly name for a hotel but the hotel itself was quite beautiful. The hotel is part of the Grupo Habita. I also want to check out other Grupo Habita hotels.

Well in one of my recent lay overs at home Mr. Monkey and I went for a quick walk around the neighborhood looking at fences. This is what we came up. With I'm sure there are. Others but these are the more interesting ones. I'm also posting a picture from Arcosanti. That is not a wood fence but a wall instead - one that I've been thinking about in fence form. Oregon Ducks Training Facility: Casanova Center. Yesterday was the Spring Oregon Ducks football game here in town. The longer I've lived in Eugene the more I become aware of football activities. One of the exciting things about the spring game (I hear) is that the new duck uniforms. Small group meeting room. Exam tables used for massages, PT, doctor's exams. Slightly more private PT or exam room. The glass can fog up with the touch of a button, see video at the end of this post. Posted by modern monkey.
