What happens during an assessment? You should allow three hours for an assessment. It may only take two and a half hours, but in some cases can take longer. Breaks can be taken at any time; it is important that you are comfortable. As the assessment progresses different tasks will be selected in order to help make a diagnosis, there is no such thing as a standard assessment!

What happens before an assessment? Once we have agreed a date and time you will be emailed a questionnaire. To complete (parent or carer to compete in the case of children). You will need to print it out, fill out as much as you can, and bring it with you on the day of your assessment. Parents / carers are also asked to bring copies of recent school reports and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) if you have them.
