Anyway, after 2 miles of running straight, i spotted our waterstop. so for about 10 mins of rest there, drinking water and taking one of my energy gels (i almost puke as i didn't like the taste of the gel. have to find an alternative that will suit me), i continued my long and arduous run. it seemed forever! Last saturday i ran outside around the charles after a day of light snow. it was quite hard not because of the reason that i haven't been running outside for quite a long time already but because the road was really slippery. ice was everywhere! N9 AGAINST d w! Sunday, June 25, 2006. After my Big Lake event running the half-marathon, i sort of messed up my routine. i run less and less and never had the chance to go to the gym. aside from that, i've been sleeping really late and not eating the right kinds of food. i realized that it's so hard to get into shape for a marathon but losing the routine takes just a snap of a finger. and KABOOM! N9 AGAINST d w! Monday, May 01, 2006. 131mi - 2.56hrs. I am done with my long runs. last saturday was my last long run before my marathon event. from this day forward ('til my event), i will just be doing short runs. Anyway, my run last saturday -. First 2 miles - i just run continuously and did a combination of walk-run after the first 2 miles. so with that, i was able to finish the 13.1mi goal without injury. the last 2 miles though was tough. real tough! N9 AGAINST d w! Tuesday, May 08, 2007. Yeah, I've been so busy with other stuffs lately that I haven't had the time to go to the gym already. But that doesn't mean I wasted all my training before and didn't stay fit. I've been actually going to the studio everyday instead of going to the gym. So, I bargained my gym time for my studio time and just dance my butt off! May 07: 2.26mi, cross training. May 08: 2.5mi, cross training. May 10: 2.8mi, cross training. May 14: 7.88mi (around the charles).
