Lead Small by Reggie Joiner | Echoing Faith
https://echoingfaith.wordpress.com/2013/02/27/lead-small-by-reggie-joiner
Serve it Up →. Lead Small by Reggie Joiner. February 27, 2013. Here at Mansfield Bible Church, we believe small groups is key to ministry. This is true for all ministries, from children’s through adult. Recently, I read. By Reggie Joiner and I believe his five aspects of leading a small group for children and youth are beneficial for all who pursue a small group model of ministry. Here is a summary of his five points:. Create a safe place. Small Group leaders will be spending roughly one hour a week with...

Monthly Archives: January 2014. January 10, 2014. We have all either had or heard the question: How do I grow in my faith? All my Christian life, I have heard a fairly consistent answer to this questions. If you want to grow in your faith, read you bible, pray, and go to church. I believe these are correct, good, and should be encouraged, but I believe this answer to be incomplete. Personal Bible Study, Prayer Time, Serving Others. Here is my survey of 8 chapters of Mark in light of this discussion:.

Monthly Archives: June 2012. June 14, 2012. Tly I heard this one. You have most likely seen an image of Jesus hanging on the cross. This particular speaker akin this image to the Catholic Church and their supposed belief that they deny the resurrection of Jesus and this image of Jesus on the Cross is evidence. I want to address this issue in two ways: The false implications of memorializing and What do they really believe? The false implications of memorializing. What do they really believe. 8220;The Res...

September 10, 2015. I am not seeking after novelty or trying to impress, I simply have an idea for you to think about and I would love to hear your thoughts. So here is my question? What if God is working with all these traditions simultaneously in time and allowing all these differences to co-exist at one time and it all still be considered to be “Truth.”. Now, please know I don’t have so much as a good biblical argument for this idea it is simply something I connected in my own head. No doubt...The ide...

The Ewton Marriage Project |: Day 1,617 | NICU Reunion
http://ewton.blogspot.com/2014/04/day-1617-nicu-reunion.html
Saturday, April 26, 2014. Day 1,617 NICU Reunion. We looked forward to the NICU reunion ever since we found out about it a few months ago- and it was better than we had imagined! It was soooo wonderful to see some of Joanna's heroes again- and for them to see her! Everyone adored Joanna's glasses, and were happy to see how big she's gotten- remember she was discharged at 7 pounds and 5 months old. One of Joanna's neonatologists, the one that was on rotation at Joanna's NICU when we met Joanna:. Joanna's ...

http://ewton.blogspot.com/2013/12/day-1480-reflecting-back-what-it-was.html
Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Day 1,480 Reflecting Back: What It Was Like To Be A Stay At Home Mom. A few days after bringing Joanna home, she turned 5 months old, so I commemorated that day by taking some 5 month portraits of her, of which the above was my favorite. What does this have to do with being a stay at home mom? Our adoption of Joanna was finalized while I was a stay at home mom, and I am so grateful for how smooth that day went. Before returning to work full time, I was able to take Joanna to o...

Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Day 1,361 Joanna Grace- Adoption Story. If you're surprised, just think how surprised we are! We are adopting a little girl, Joanna Grace. She is African American, and is already 4 months old and is a little over 5 pounds. When she was born she weighed 1 pound 6 ounces! Because of how premature she was, she has already had a surgery to fix a hernia, and will likely need an eye surgery in the future. Please be in prayer for her continued growth, health, and development. Day 1,416...

http://ewton.blogspot.com/2014/02/day-1555-life-goes-on.html
Monday, February 24, 2014. Day 1,555 Life Goes On. Life has been pretty busy for us since I returned to work in November, so I apologize that I am not posting frequently! Since the last blog post, we have received an appointment from Joanna's surgeon for removing the g-button, so the countdown is on- March 28! Once we got that date confirmed, then of course, I begin to freak out about the g-button coming out, what if she backslides? What if she stops gaining? Should we feed her more? I think this was the...

Monday, October 7, 2013. Day 1,416 Joanna's Adoption Day. PS HUGE thanks and shout out to Jared Rey Photography. For the awesome photos documenting Joanna's Adoption Day! Once we were called into the courtroom, Kevin and I accompanied our attorney to the judge for some testimony, while grandma (my mom) fed Joanna, and our friends waited and watched. After giving testimony, our family and friends were invited to join us for the finalization and celebration of Joanna's adoption! Afterwards, we let our atto...

Saturday, August 24, 2013. Day 1,372 Joanna's First Week as our Daughter. Last night was our 1 week anniversary of meeting Joanna. God has done so much in the last week! When we first met Joanna, she was in a swing, all bundled up, and sleeping. She was born weighing 1 pound 3.6 ounces, and is now weighing in at 6 pounds 11 ounces! She is now at 42 weeks, or 2 weeks past her due date- though she was born 19 weeks ago @ 23 weeks 5 days! She took about half her feeding last night with me by bottle, and had...

Monday, August 19, 2013. Day 1,367 Joanna is a Micro-Preemie. Last week was quite a roller coaster! We managed to find our way through the maze of parking garages and the large hospital and found the NICU, and after presenting our drivers licenses we were escorted back to Joanna. Seeing her for the first time, she was all swaddled up, and in a swing. She looked so adorable, yet so tiny! Please continue to lift up Joanna in your prayers, and us as well- it has been exciting and scary to become her parents...

Awakening our senses to the light that endures. Monday, November 9, 2009. Our day started early, Chris picked my up a little after 7:00 so that we could carpool into Wilmore together. As we traveled the newly paved Harrodsburg Road, he excitedly announced some good news. 8220;We get to go see Stella tonight.”. Stella is a golden retriever that we let out when her people are gone and I beamed at the thought of getting to visit the softest dog in town.
