Since at least 90% of our food comes from just outside the city and is brought in fresh by farmers every morning I was wondering how they managed it. Labels: Everyday life in China. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Today I found a lady who sells fresh milk from local cows for one fourth the price I can find at the supermarket. And the best part is that it tastes better and is less likely to be poisoned! Labels: Everyday life in China. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Online Chinese Dictionary (wonderful). July 18, 2012. It has finally happened. My neighbor's tree has finally been taken down. Cleaning the gutters will be much easier because there won't be anymore leaves or "whirly-birds" in them. There won't be a front lawn full of leaves in October. And best of all my driveway will be free of the little whirly-birds that come down from the early spring to the early fall. I can almost retire my leaf blower. Posted by Rick R. July 6, 2012. Posted by Rick R. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
