Dan Edgleys Digital Environment Blog. Friday, 28 November 2008. Animatic and Importing Character. I have spent yesterday and today working on my MTV camera sequences. I had to create a number of different cameras to achieve the different shots I required. I was constantly referring to my original storyboard as well as MTV crib episodes on youtube to help me maintain the right look and feel. As pointed out by Jared. Dont even get me started - Appointment to be booked with Alex hulse. Stairs driving me mad.

I felt so annoyed because I have spent way too much time getting these stairs right (a total of 6 staircases had been modelled up until this point - all in different ways! I started the staircase with a preset ring polygon shape, subdivisions x40. I then deleted 3/4 of the ring leaving me a rectangular curved quarter. I set upon extruding each individual face 1 unit high until I had a fairly simple and beutifully smoothed encased stairwell.

Team Pedro met today to display our amazing naturalistic set objects to one another. Tom had made a lovely Gorilla cage sign with a piece of cleverly crafted bark and red paint. I then helped him with countless other errors he hade made before we all began editing the final premier film, with all scenes imported.
