http://beyondthejohn.blogspot.com/2008/12/lets-have-heart-to-heart-chat.html
Beyond the john: life beyond my eating disorder. Let's have a heart to heart chat. Let's lay it out: i'm in relapse. Ouch that is painful. It's been ironic, i suppose you could say, being in relapse. (btw, i'm sure that is a huge reason why i haven't written in so long.) i mean, here i am, creating a blog about life in recovery and i relapse. I've been going back and forth about a few things. one was whether i should even keep this blog. i mean, it seems a little uncomfortable to say, "hi, here's...About...

beyond the john: life beyond my eating disorder: adventures in family reunions
http://beyondthejohn.blogspot.com/2008/08/seeing-people-losing-weight.html
Beyond the john: life beyond my eating disorder. Adventures in family reunions. Because there's nothing else to think. because I have. Warrant an asterick. I think she probably said that either because she'd heard about my eating disorder, so was a little more sensitive than usual, because she didn't know but was still trying not to be rude, or because seeig me for the first time in years caused me to really seem, in her eyes, to look good. I look how I look. Oh, I've got more for you. Is it my attempt n...

frozen.oranges: January 2009
http://frozen-oranges.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2009. Ladies and gents, our society. Man, I can't wait for my beautiful, innocent 15-year-old daughter to think that this is the way she needs to dress for school. I'd like to think I'll be able to raise her with a little more confidence, but you know how kids get tangled up in societal-induced peer pressure. The following is just absolutely terrifying. The photos are from the newest issue of Teen Vogue. Yes, Teen. Who, by the way, is absolutely hilarious with their captioning.

NotesFromtheVoices: Being Sassy with 31 Dresses of July
http://notesfromthevoices.blogspot.com/2015/07/being-sassy-with-31-dresses-of-july.html
Finding myself while recovering from ED. Friday, July 10, 2015. Being Sassy with 31 Dresses of July. Since July 1, I have been wearing a different skirt or dress each day. It started out to see if I have enough to do this for a month. It has been fun and much cooler way to be the heat. Especially when the forecast comes up on Weatherbug as "very hot.". Now, there are some days that I would rather throw on a pair of capris. But it has been fun and I feel kind of sassy. 1 It's a beautiful day! 12 Days Been...

Finding myself while recovering from ED. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Hollering Contest and other adventures. Have you ever been so busy that you didn't know if you were coming or going? This is how my life has been lately. Last night for the first time in awhile, I was home on a Monday night and wasn't sure what to do. On Saturday (Sept. 6), I attended the National Hollerin' Contest in Spivey's Corner for the first time and it was quite interesting for me. I had really wanted to attend the biscuit makin...

http://notesfromthevoices.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Finding myself while recovering from ED. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. It's almost 3 and all is well. June has been an interesting month. Visited the library fish! Took care all of the drama involving my car so I was able to visit the bestie in RR. I had a great time because I spent it with her and had a three day weekend. She lives at Lake Gaston, which is beautiful. Lake Gaston is down there. I was a little tipsy and didn't feel comfortable walking. 3 Three day weekend for the July 4th! Links to this post.
