Students can use their cell phones or computers to answer poll questions, eliminating the need for CPS clickers or similar technology. Both students and teachers can download the Edmodo app for iPhone and Android devices. To the left are screenshots of the app in action. The app is especially helpful for students as they can do their homework right from their cellphones.

Twitter is one of the most popular forms of social media used by teens today. Many students already have a Twitter that they use and check on a daily basis. Your tweets could be included! Twitter is not blocked in FCPS schools, meaning that you can tweet and your students can check your Twitter feed from the school computers.

Next, you will need to select a username and password. This is how you will log in, but students will only see your name as Mr. or Mrs. and your last name. First you will need to name your class. This is important because this is how students will differentiate your class from any others they are enrolled in.
